Meet Luke
The person behind the legacy.
Luke R. Smith was more than an athlete. He was a son, brother, teammate, friend, and someone whose energy and presence left a lasting impact on the people around him. Sports were a huge part of Luke’s life, especially lacrosse, teaching him the value of hard work, dedication, teamwork, and never giving up on something you love.
After Luke’s passing in 2020, his family created the Luke R. Smith Foundation as a way to carry his spirit forward. By helping student-athletes access opportunities to play, grow, and pursue their goals, Luke continues to make an impact on the next generation.
His life was far too short, but his legacy is just getting started.
